On this episode, Danielle and I are chatting about all things branding. We cover developing your website + logo, suggestions for social media, how to work with an evolving brand,  how to develop a brand when you have more than one passion, as well as tips + tricks for allowing your brand to truly represent yourself.

Danielle is full of knowledge from her years working as both a yoga teacher + helping yoga teachers develop their yoga brands, so don’t miss this episode!

Enjoy!

Business Lessons:

  • Keep things simple when you’re just starting out
  • Give yourself room to grow + evolve with your brand
  • Continue to be re-assessing what you enjoy doing
  • Your logo, website + colors are important – they are a big picture of who you are are
  • Always invest in some way – choose how you want to invest
  • Get clear on who you are as a yoga teacher, and that makes saying “no” to the things that don’t serve your brand or your business a lot easier
  • Your offerings, audience and social media might shift, but the key is to be consistent
  • Leave room to allow your brand to shift and change
  • Look to attract people on social media that really resonate with what you’re putting out there – don’t take it personally
  • Patience is key to growing your social media account in an organic way
  • Run a report on your Instagram each week to see what your following is like
  • Post consistently on social media, focus on where your audience is and focus your efforts on a couple of channels, instead of trying to do them all!
  • Be intentional with your hashtags if you’re going to use them on Instagram – what is your community speaking and listening to?
  • Do one thing towards your business per day – especially if you’re side hustling!
  • Pinterest can be used to grow your business and drive traffic to your website
  • Guest posting is a great way to get your brand out there
  • If you have more than one aspect to your brand, you can brand yourself as you and then have different areas where people can choose the aspect of your business that they are interested in
  • Allow the tone of your communication to really communicate who you are, and be consistent through each of your channels
  • Do one thing a day to work on your business, NOT in your business
  • And much more… Here’s the episode!
